Award-winning Guyanese songwriter and vocalist Gucci Boss and Donlink Juzwun Entertainment executive produced a new album titled “Nice Time Riddim,” which dropped on April 3 and features 14 prominent artistes.

The entertainer said he came together with the performers to create an exciting new genre of Guyanese ‘sporting’ music, which is a favorite of dancehall lovers.

“We Guyanese don’t party; we ‘sport,’  hence we came up with the genre ‘sporting’ music. For example, America has house music, dance music, and club music. We took what we know and turned it into a genre called sporting music that consists of Kwe Kwe (a cultural sound) and a little bit of chutney,” explained Gucci Boss.

Known for his exhilarating stage presence and loud vibe, the entertainer, born Ryan Royston Linton, told Caribbean Life that he is excited about the new album and to have recorded it with his fellow singers is an excellent opportunity for them to showcase their talents.

Music Promoter Ian I. Johnson, CEO of Dynamix Studio, is calling on fans to be ready to feel the pulse of “pure excitement with the highly anticipated Nice Time Riddim,” which is a groundbreaking project from Donlink Juzwun Entertainment, produced by the legendary Code Red Records and expertly recorded and mastered at Platinum 101 Studios in New York. “This album showcases a vibrant collaboration with Ruff Kutt Studios in Guyana and i2Recordings,” he said.

“With Ryan Lynton and Donlink Juzwun Entertainment at the helm as executive producers, the Nice Time RIDDIM promises to deliver an unparalleled listening experience that will resonate with fans across the globe.”
